Alex’s berry-ball kick bends the trail sign the wrong way. Nobody saw, so he hides the ball and runs off.
A brave choice
When Shawn follows the arrow toward the muddy reeds, Alex runs after him: “The sign is wrong. Because I bent it.”
A happy turn
Together they fix the post and paint a new arrow. Next game, Alex moves the goal far from the trail.
